What is the difference between the CYRHANA Premium Collection and the Chef's Selection?
The Premium Collection comes in 250 ml, 500 ml, and 750 ml dark glass bottles with a gold cap — designed for home cooks, food gifts, and delis. The Chef's Selection comes in 3 L and 5 L tin cans and is aimed at restaurants, hotels, and catering kitchens. Both use the same cold-pressed Chemlali olive oil from Sidi Bouzid.
What does 'extra virgin' mean and why does it matter?
Extra virgin is the highest grade of olive oil, defined by an acidity below 0.8% and no chemical processing. CYRHANA olive oils are cold-pressed below 27°C within 4 hours of harvest — far exceeding these standards. The result is oil with a full polyphenol profile, fresh aroma, and authentic flavour.
What is a 'launch price'?
We are a new brand and we want to earn your trust before charging full price. Our launch prices are lower than the regular price while we build our first reviews. The regular price is shown crossed out next to the launch price on every product.
Where do you deliver?
CYRHANA Premium Collection bottles ship across Europe. Chef's Selection tins are currently delivered directly to restaurants and hotels in Thüringen (Erfurt, Weimar, Jena, Suhl, Eisenach, and surrounding areas). We are expanding to all of Germany — contact us to check your area.
Is the oil certified organic?
Yes. All CYRHANA olive oils carry EU organic certification. Our groves are farmed without pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
When is the oil harvested?
Olives are harvested by hand in October and November at peak ripeness. The oil is cold-pressed within 4 hours of harvest at the farm.
How should I store my olive oil?
Keep it away from light and heat. The dark glass bottles in the Premium Collection and the tin cans in the Chef's Selection both protect the oil from light. Store at room temperature, away from the hob. Use within 18 months of harvest.
